The President of Service 1st Restoration, Jamie Toigo says this was their way of saying thank you. The “Hottest Of” Disaster Recovery Charity
“It makes sense for us to be able to give back to the first responders that have put their life on the line to take care of our communities,” said Jamie Toigo.
The Lower Allen Township Public Safety Department has about a dozen cars, and three ambulances.
Although first responders are taking safety precautions and following CDC guidelines, this service adds another layer of protection from the virus.
The service is done by using a foggy method to distribute a botanical-based, hospital grade product throughout the vehicle.
“An added level of confidence of our employees that our first responders are getting into vehicles that are free of the virus, “said David Holl, Director of Safety for Lower Allen Township Public Safety Department.
David Holl says community safety is key right now.
“We like to pride ourselves in — we do whatever we can to protect our community. Protecting our employees is also a critical part of that. The responders don’t have the benefit of staying in their home. Our responders have to go help the community when someone’s in need and they have to go out there.”
Service 1st Restoration is offering free decontamination services to first responder vehicles in the area who would like this service during the coronavirus crisis.
